Philip began his Locksmithing career in April of 2010, immediately following the Deepwater Horizon drill ship disaster. At that time he was working in the Gulf Coast oil industry out of Houma, LA. When he saw the news that morning he knew his job was about to go downhill very quickly. On that same day, while eating lunch at a burger shack in Como, TX, he met a locksmith who was looking for an exit strategy. He was very disinterested in hiring him at first, but Philip’s offer to work for free won him over. For the next nine months Philip continued his job offshore and spent the offtime of his 14/14 schedule apprenticing for knowledge and experience, no money. Looking back now, over ten years later, it’s the best job offer he’s ever had.

Before moving to Texas and starting The Keyman Locksmith Services, Philip was in business in White Sulphur, Texas for almost a decade!
